Dr. Tolga Ersoy, who graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law in 2005 and completed his master's degree at the same university in 2009, is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association with registration number 37868.

He has continued his professional development by participating in the program on Phased Training for Turkish Lawyers on the European Convention on Human Rights, conducted in cooperation with the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and the Council of Europe; the Mergers and Acquisitions training program, prepared in cooperation with the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Istanbul Bar Association; the Legal English and Terminology program organized by the Istanbul Bar Association; and the training seminars of the European Court of Human Rights and Expert Witness Training programs. He completed the professional training on "Women's Rights and Domestic Violence" provided by the Istanbul Bar Association Women's Rights Center. Between 2010 and 2014, he served in public office as a Member of the Executive Board of the Istanbul Bar Association's Foreign Relations Center and Head of the Balkan Countries Working Group.

His articles have been published in various academic journals, and he has presented his academic papers at national and international symposia and conferences. He is proficient in English (KPDS score: 93.75). He has lectured on Turkish Legal History and Roman Law as a faculty member at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law and Beykent University. He completed his doctoral program in Medieval History at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2024, earning the title of "Doctor". He continues his academic and professional work.

Dr. Tolga Ersoy, practicing as a criminal defense lawyer, provides defense services by being present during police and prosecutor interrogations, prepares criminal complaints and their annexes, represents suspects referred to Magistrate Criminal Judgeships with a request for detention, objects to and follows up on detention and precautionary measures ordered by Magistrate Criminal Judgeships, and handles the processes of serving as defense counsel for defendants or as counsel for complainants in Courts of First Instance for Criminal Matters and High Criminal Courts.

Furthermore, he provides litigation and legal consultancy services in many specific areas of law, including, but not limited to, objecting to non-prosecution decisions issued by public prosecutors, objecting to arrest and seizure orders, preparing appeal and cassation petitions, handling objection procedures against judicial control decisions, managing applications for postponement of execution and their follow-up, conducting visits to detainees and convicts in prison, and individual applications to the Constitutional Court (AYM) and applications to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) within the prescribed period for finalized cases.
